What we collect

The files you upload and the results we create from them.

Account details if you sign in: email address, sign-in method and display name.

Order and payment records. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.

Technical data needed to run and protect the service: a browser identifier for free-use limits, hashed IP address, approximate country, and device type.

How we use your files

Only to perform the task you ask for. We don't read your documents for any other purpose, use them for advertising, or use them to train models.

Files are private to your session or account. Download links require your session and stop working when files expire.

How long we keep things

Uploads you don't process: 60 minutes.

Results: 60 minutes after you first see them, at most 24 hours after they're ready.

Saved projects: up to 30 days after creation, or until you delete them.

Order and invoice records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Who processes data for us

Cloudflare: website delivery, file storage and bot protection.

Waffo: payments and, where applicable, tax collection.

Our email provider: sign-in codes, receipts and service emails.

Google: sign-in, only if you choose Continue with Google.

Our document processing provider, whose servers are in mainland China: used for Office to PDF, PDF to Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OCR, automatic watermark removal and the PDF editor. The file is sent only for that task, without its file name or your account details; encrypted files are unlocked on our side first and passwords are never sent. The provider deletes files according to its retention terms.

The regions where each provider processes data, and the safeguards for transfers, are listed in our data processing details, available from [email protected].

Your rights

You can delete projects at any time and close your account from the account page. Closing your account deletes your files and results.
